Not only will Reign Pro be putting it down, but our friend and yours, K-Dizzy will be joining them for a song or two as a feature guest!! How cool is that?!?
Tonight, make sure you catch K-Dizzy, Johnny Blaze and several other talented, Northwest hip-hoppers at Lindo's Funk Shop (ADDRESS, Vancouver WA). The show is 21-and-over, so bring your I.D. and make sure to get nice and saucy before Dizzy spits that 1HRx fire all over the stage!

One-Hour Pharmacy (1HRx) Records artists are finally getting off their video game chairs to begin the laborious task of social network fan-whoring. Where do you come in? Well, if you're looking at our website, you're probably a fan of one or many of the fine 1HRx Records artists that keep stereos fresh and DJs employed. When you're not stalking your ex to see who they're currently swapping naughty spots with, you may as well add (or, as George Orwell would say, 'like') your fellow 'Pharmacists. After all, bragging rights are worth more than the U.S. dollar these days, and you'll be helping our artists get laid (in addition to keeping an ear to the ground for special Facebook-fan-only offers and discounts!)...
Somebody wanna tell me how it's already the freakin' 10th? Last thing I remember I was ringing in the new year at this winter ball, gettin' tore up off all these high class cocktails. The next thing I know, I'm writing this blog. All jokes aside, it does feel like I've been partying every day this year. That prolly has something to do with the fact that if I have been partying every day this year! After New Years, I attended Statutory Ray's Birthday Bash at The Matador. If you missed out on that 1 then you have my condolences cuz nobody knows how to throw a party like Statutory Ray! With a pentagram birthday cake constructed of cupcakes iced with black death frosting and topped with crumbled candied bacon, my favorite urinal in Portland (don't ask) and plenty of spirits, I think I can safely say that this was 1 birthday party to remember.
Not only was the booze flowing, but the music was poppin'. Former 'Pharmacy affiliates Delaney & Paris kicked off the night with their blend of acoustic guitar and lyrics that would make your 97 year-old grandmother say, "WTF". Yours truly tore the mic in half on stage. Up next was Public Drunken Sex. Now I think there's a few things you should know about PDS. 1) They rap about getting drunk. 2) They rap about getting laid. 3) They kick ass live. Interesting factoid: Hybrid (from PDS) & I founded The Dirty G's with a rapper named E Tab back in the day. ANYWAY.....
So the night after Ray's party, I get another gig at Ted's Berbatis. This was the 1st time I had ever performed there. I liked the stage set up & the floor plan of the venue itself. Very chic. The crowd showed me a lot of love & I hung out till the last act. Some of the other performers that night included Everybody Knows & Eddie Valiant. I was impressed with both their sets & I hope to work with them again in the future. Now if you haven't heard, I'ma be puttin' it down with Reign Pro on Friday, Jan 27th for the Three 6 Mafia show at the Roseland. This show is gonna be hot & I can assure you that tickets won't last, so grab 'em while you can! A week and a day before that, on Thursday, January 19th I'll be performing at Lindo's Funk Shop's weekly hip-hop night in Vancouver, WA. Also be on the look out for a NEW 1HRx Sampler CD. I'm getting back in the lab to drop some fire on the mic so you all can have some brand new flavor for your ear holes!
What it do y'all? Have I mentioned how good it feels to be back in the Northwest doin' shows & what not? Cuz it feels pretty fuckin' awesome. Last week I put it down with my home boys from Reign Pro. for their new album release. I don't normally like to say I did a great job, but this time around, I fuckin' killed it. Seriously, that was 1 of the best sets I've done in a long min. Shit, I put in so much energy into that set I'm surprised that it didn't either kill me or make me ascend to Super Saiyan! It was also great seeing some of my homies performing. Public Drunken Sex rocked the stage as always. Tragedy503 ripped it up. E Dub dropped it like it was scaulding. & of course, Reign Pro. killed it.
I can honestly say that I am honored to feature on an album as fresh as The P.O.E. Album. If you got $5, you should pick up a copy. With so many talented artists featuring on The P.O.E. Album, I gaurantee you won't regret it. Lest ye be a hater. Even if you're broke, you can check out our track called "Karate Chop" on YouTube for freezy. I personally feel like it's a great track & I'm not just saying that cuz I'm on it. But don't take my werd for it. Go check it out!
In other news, my 2nd album "Piece de Resistance" is scheduled for a late late release. I know some of you have been waiting patiently for it. NW veterans and 1HRx Records affiliates Reign Pro are getting ready to drop their brand-new CD, "P.O.E.," and the good folks at Lindo's in Vancouver, WA are providing a stage and sound for the release party. Not only will Reign Pro be sharing the stage with PDX-area favorites Tragedy503, Chief Grey and Johnny Blaze, but 1HRx family Public Drunken Sex (PDS) and K-Dizzy as well! Dizzy is coming back with a bang, and both Portland and Vancouver are lucky enough to get shows from the first official artist to ever sign with 1HRx Records. First up, on Friday, October 28th, the Undefeated Sports Bar (click for map) will be hosting A Night of Nightmares:
